Jamie Misegades DPT

Jamie graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro College in September of 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Rider University in 2018. During undergraduate education, she participated in many research projects involving injury prevention and movement screening for dancers. Her first publication on the use of functional movement and balance screening in a population of collegiate dancers was published in the August 2020 issue of the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy.

Jamie was first introduced to the field of physical therapy as a patient herself. As a young dancer in need of some help, a team of incredible physical therapists were able to guide her to return to her passion, pain-free and stronger than ever. From that moment on, she knew she had to be a part of this amazing field to help others have just as positive an experience as she did. While studying at Touro, Jamie was able to spend three out of her four clinical internships studying under manual therapists, each with very unique styles. She follows a holistic, patient-centered approach to treatment, utilizing a combination of hands-on and exercise therapy to address patients’ specific needs and goals. Jamie treats a wide variety of patient populations and loves helping people get back to doing what they love.
